There’s a fantastic new development project taking place in Harare’s prestigious Northern suburbs.
It’s called Liora Estates, situated along Crowhill Road about 5 kms north of Borrowdale Brooke and about 23 kms from the city centre. It’s conveniently close to both Borrowdale Road and Harare Drive so there’s easy access to the major shopping centres and to the Central Business District. The Estate is part of the stunning Crowhill Views area which boasts an idyllic unspoiled natural setting along the banks of a small stream which is a tributary of the Umwinsidale River. The estate is carefully designed to take full advantage of the outstanding local scenery while being environmentally and ecologically sensitive, preserving the natural surroundings. An Environmental Impact Assessment has been done by EMA to ensure that the development won’t be detrimental to the area.
The project’s vision statement is: “Believe the impossible. To demonstrate that it is possible to live well in a space where nature and modernity meet; in a community that shares the same deep values for life, quality, serenity and ambition.” When completed the development will offer residents the best of both worlds – the convenience of modern luxury living and a relaxed countryside atmosphere. As most of the development will consist of gated communities security will be excellent (a major concern these days) and there will be a friendly neighbourhood feeling. There will be shared ‘green’ spaces for relaxation and recreation to get away from the stresses of our modern lifestyles.
There are also plans to incorporate a local shopping mall for residents’ convenience, consisting of 11 major anchor tenants and 36 other assorted shops. Unlike older suburbs where development has taken place in a sometimes haphazard way the entire Estate, consisting of just over 700 hectares, has been conceptualized and designed as a single harmonious and largely self contained community.
There a number of residential options available, designed by well known Zimbabwean architects Mukamba Muriwa Naggo, registered architects, interior designers and planning consultants. Even the landscaping has been carefully considered to highlight the natural beauty of the surroundings.
Options include free-standing fully detached cluster homes consisting of four bedrooms, an open plan kitchen, lounge and dining room, two bathrooms and a double lock up garage. These are currently selling off plan and there is a show house completed so buyers can get a good feel for what their new home will be like. There are currently six different house models available with a variety of options like three or four bedrooms, a separate TV lounge, or a verandah and a dressing room for the master suite. Even finishes and details can be specified, for example, there’s an option for a built-in fireplace.
In addition, there are two semi-detached house options, as well as the choice of four bedroom duplex units and two bedroom flats in either two or four-storey complexes. So there’s really an option that will fit your family and your lifestyle perfectly.
Development of the entire project will take place in various phases with phase one already well underway. Phase one consists of 30 fully detached cluster home units with an average stand size of 1,200 square metres. All the units are selling off very quickly so you need to hurry to be part of this exciting upmarket, low to medium density scheme.
Prices are extremely reasonable and vary according to the desired option. Terms and mortgage financing are available. To find out more about this outstanding and unique development contact the sales team:
